H. Melanarus Wrasse or not?

I have a Melenarus Wrasse in my tank. Well I think i do. See, it doesn't look like the one from ReefKeeping's Fish profile on Hovens Wrasse / Melanarus Wrasse. It looks like this one from other sites, such as thepetstop and righthealth.

Now I would always default to RK, but the shipping order was an H. Melanarus, so I'm wondering if this is a Melanarus or a maybe it's a Juvenile? or something else...

Isn't the top a male and the bottom a female?

The top is a male, and the bottom is a female/juvenile. The females and juveniles look very similar/identical.

My 3 year old male, about 6 months prior to going carpet surfing while I was out of town. A real sad loss- this was a great fish- loads of personality and truly minded his own business- unless you were a snail!
