Had some red acans.

I have 2 types of acans. One that used to be completely red, another red and blue. I have them in the sandbed in an 8 gallon nano under 8 watt LEDs and they have both lost their red and are now orange. What can i do to make them turn red again? I have a 46 gallon with T5s, should i put them under there? Any help is appreciated.

That's the problem with LEDs, they are notorious for changing red to orange.
I think under t5 they should return to red, I have the same problem and I am thinking of going back to t5.

Awesome, thanks. My greens and blues are doing great under the LEDs, it's just those two.
