I've been wanting a haddoni for a while, but it seems like there's a fair number of threads on here lately of people buying online and the anemone's not handling shipping well. So, I decided to look locally (within driving distance) and found a beautiful 8" blue one within a day's drive (three and a half hours away). To make a long story longer, last Saturday my wife and I made the drive, picked up the anemone and brought it home. It looks great, mouth is tightly closed, super sticky and foot isn't going anywhere. To transport it, we had it in a 5 gallon bucket and its foot was/is in one of those ceramic flower pots within the 5 gallon bucket. after acclimation, I moved the anemone and flower pot to the tank and set him near at a spot where the sand meets a rock. At any rate, as of tonight, it's foot has not budged from the flower pot. The anemone's front/disc is sticking out of the flower pot so it's getting some moderate/low flow and full light (I dimmed my lights a bit for acclimation), but his foot hasn't move at all from where it was in the pot. I'm hoping to get him to move out of the pot, but don't want to stress him out, especially with how well he seems to be doing. Should I do anything to cooerce him out of the pot or should I leave well enough alone and let it decide when it's ready to move?
Thanks,
Mark
