Hairy Mushroom

I have had a Green/Pink hairy mushroom for about a year, It looks like its starting to split in half?!? Any ideas of whats going on? my Clown has been hosting it for the last year...

It's probably doing just that. They reproduce through bilateral fission I believe. Mine hasn't done it yet though.
