Halichoeres and Berghia...

Will my Wrasses eat Berghia nudibranchs if I add them? The Aiptasia is getting out of control. I have Iridis and Melanurus. There is also a Mystery Wrasse. I have looked on the internet and could not find much. Thanks!

More likely than not, they will eat the berghia. Your better off buying peppermint shrimp. Thats what took care of the aptasia for me.

I have 16 wrasse including 4 halichoeores and my berghias were able to elude them and reproduce until all the aptasia was gone. FYI: Its been just over a year and the darn aptasia are coming back.

Berghia did well for me they were very cryptic, only out at night, I only saw a few get picked off, it took months for them to make a dent. I got an aiptasia eating filefish and he did in one week what it took the berghia 6 months to do. I had no luck with peppermint shrimp. As said previously they usually come back because they get in the overflows, sump, etc, etc. Good luck.
