Hammer Coral Damage....

So the hubby was going to start siphoning some water out of the tank. He wasn't paying attention to where the hose was and once he started siphoning.....Woosh!

He sucked up a huge head off of our hammer coral! There are only a few polyps left on that head. Do you think this brand will die off or will this poor guy recover?

If given ideal circumstances the coral will likely regrow it's lost tissue, just be sure to keep your parameters in check, this will speed up recovery.

It did seem to be perking up a little bit this morning. Of course our clown that hosts in it still seems to be giving my hubby the evil eye for messing with her place. lol
I'm going to try and feed it tonight, hopefully it still has a mouth in it somewhere
