Hammer Coral didnt enjoy Xmas break!

So I'm having a hammer problem and I have a couple of questions.

I got back from my xmas vacation today and my once beautiful hammer is dying. Its almost completely retracted, pale and the tentacles are kind of flopping out of the heads about a 1/4 inch (I'd take a pic but my cam is broken at the moment). I checked all of my parameters and my Alk was low at 1.5meq/l. All of my other parameters were ok. I've started a drip to get the alk back up but I'm worried. Is there anything else I can do to help it out? And is a low alk over a 2 week period enough to cause a hammer to start to die?

Here are my parameters:

Temp: 82
Ph: 8.16
Salinity: 1.025
Nitrates: 0
Phospates: 0
Calcium: 540
Alk 1.5 meq/l

Thanks

My temp varies a bit, down to 80 at niht and up to 82 in the day.

The coral seems to be hanging on, all of my other lps is doing well, I have another hammer and a frogspawn in the same tank. It has good days and bad, today is in the middle. I moved it right after I posted the first time to a lower light, lower flow area and I also adjusted my alk to where it is today (2.8meq) The hammer is doing a bit better since the move, but I'm still hoping it'll pull through. Yesterday it expelled a few strings of zooanthellae, which is a first for it since the decline in health. Dont know whether thats good or bad...we'll see I guess.

here's a pic:
