Hammer coral Help

how do i acclaimate a hammer coral...I have a 29gal with 65wattts pc i am thinking about putting the coral in the highest area of the tank...This is how i acclaimate everything i get
i just take the bag soak it in my water for like 15min and than add my tank water in the bag and let the bag float in the water for like 15min and than empty out the water in the sink and put it in the tank.

First get a bucket and some airline tubing. Tipe the bucket at an angle so when the coral is placed in the bucket it remains underwater. Next place one end of the tubing in the tank and anchor it somehow. Tie a knot in the tubing but don't tighten it yet, several knots if needed. Suck on the end of the tubing to get a syphon going. Then just pull on the tubing to get the knots tight enough so you are getting a slow drip. Aclimate like this for about 2 hours so it is a gradual transition for the coral. Works great for fish as well. This is how I do it with success but there are many other ways to do it.

i go with the drip method as well. just not as long. i will drip for maybe 1 hour. i even bought one of these http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium_miscellaneous_pisces_pro_acclimator.asp?CartId= you can make several for a few dollars.

once you get the hammer or any coral start it towards the bottom. let them get used to your lights. move it up maybe every 2-3 days until it looks happy. my branching hammer is happy in the middle of my tank with PC lights.
