Hammer Coral Problems z

Ok, so I purchased a hammer two days ago from my LFS (not exactly sure what type)...and it seemed to do OK at first, but then began to shrivel up and shed a little. Ive tried adjusting placement and waterflow but no change...while the coral doesn't seem like its completely messed up..it doesn't seem too happy. My LFS tested my water parameters and said everything was perfect...its a 75g tank with a Solarmax H.O (48inch) T5 fixture and also a truelumen LED strip (48 inch). Ive been feeding phytoplankton and other trace elements but i was wondering if you guys have any tips since i'm new to hammers. I will attach pictures...you cant see well because they are from my phone but many of the bubble polyps of the hammer are shriveled and kind of dark.

The tank is about a year and a half old...water quality is always great...any help would be GREATLY appreciated
Here are links of the coral and tank:

Also now Ive noticed...the same day I bought the hammer coral I did a 14g water change (75g tank).....today my two blood red fire shrimp and one of my blue gudgeon dartfish are dead....these guys have been in my tank for months and very healthy....maybe I got bad water?

I think the first thing we're going to need are what the current parameters are in your tank. It's hard for anyone to make suggestions with "water parameters are perfect".

Do you know what they tested, and what the actual values were? Maybe it is perfect, but maybe not depending on what they checked. Its hard to say if the water change caused any sort of swing that would impact your livestock.

I assume that you are getting your water from the LFS? Did you test it's salinity content before your water change?

Anyhow..give us some info..and we'll do our best to help.

it seems too fishy that you had an invert and fish die at once and this coral doing so poorly. the issues probably have the same underlying cause.

im guessing your water parameters arent perfect since the water change. Was the water temp and salinity matched to your tank? did you acclimate the hammer?
