hammer question

i know that frogspawns and hammers can sting other corals. but, i have never seen a sweeper tentacle from my frogspawn. i recently purchased a branching hammer. it is small right now but i gave it a nice spot to grow. do hammers have sweepers? i have it about 2" away from a leather. i assumed that it will grow upwards towards the light and horizontally because it is branching. how far should it be from my leather and do hammers and frogspawn have sweepers? thanks!

Yes, hammers have sweepers that pack a powerful punch causing bleaching and sometimes death to other corals. I have a few Montipora Caps 4 inches away and my hammer constantly stings them. I have to find another spot for either my Montis or Hammer
