So ive had this Hammer coral for a little more than a month and it was doing great until yesterday, when i noticed it had shriveled in. I read that they do not recede at night and even extend their tentacles at night and it has been about two days that the right portion grows and the left portion significantly less, and at night it shrinks. I may also point out that i can see a little of the skeleton in the rear left. All my chemical levels are correct according to the forums and internet and ive checked for parasites, of which there are none. Ive noticed my cleaner shrimp pick at the portion of the skeleton which is visible. Occasionally the shriveled part extends the tentacles but does not make them nice and plump so they are long and stringy in appearance. Any Ideas? I will check my parameters again tomorrow but for the most part they are fine, the exception being calcium at 380 ppm rather than my usual 400 but im dosing to raise it again. I'd Appreciate any help!
