Does anyone have one lying around that I could borrow for a few weeks? I recently picked up an entire setup that came with a bunch of fish and wanted to see if someone had one I could borrow before setting up a temporary sump for them while I get the new display setup and plumbed (which is going to take a few weeks)

How long is borrow? I use mine but I only have one fish in the entire tank, so going without a skimmer wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. Also, located right near you in Ansonia/Monroe

I would guess 2-3 weeks but seeing how this is a new setup from scratch, it could take a bit longer. That said, I appreciate the offer but I dont want to temporarily take it off your hands if you're actively using it. I'd feel terrible if something happened to your livestock while I was using it. Thank you for the offer.

Gee RJ, sorry you didn't ask about this a month before. I had my Tunze 9002 sitting around, but by the time you posted this, it was in a new home. Sorry.

Timing is everything, as always. Would have loved to help.

Thanks for the offers everyone! Got a few PM's from a number of people as well. I'm all set for now. All the fish I recently received as part of the pkg deal are in a temporary home. That said, I now have 3 pairs of clowns and will have to get rid of at least 1 (possibly 2) pairs. Will post a new thread of the clowns and the anenome's that host each of them soon. I'd love to keep them all but don't think a 4 foot tank can support 2 pairs, let alone 3.
