Hanna checker or Api tests?

Day 4 of cycling my Red Sea reefer 450 using dry rock.

And my readings are as follows

Ammonia 2-3 ppm same as what it was on day 1 but my nitrates are giving me 2 different readings based off which instrument I'm using.

Hanna checked says 6ppm nitrite and well the api is just hard to gauge I'm assuming it's somewhere around 1ppm?

Which test is the accurate one because they are way off from one another!

I've attached images.

I would go with the Hanna also, although the API looks to also indicate 5 to me. In either case you have a nitrite reading at 2.0 or above which is all that is really important.

So if the Hanna checker is correct. I just started to detect nitrites yesterday and it was as .25. 24 hours later and again if the Hanna checker is right my nitrites have spiked to 6ppm? Is that normal?? Doesn't this stuff take much longer to happen?

I've switched over to Salifert tests due to inaccuracies with their Calcium Checker and bad reagents with their Alkalinity Checker. I only use their ULR Phosphorus Checker now.
