So I checked for phosphates in my sps tank and the reading kept coming back
Reading 50 + - should I be concerned and what methods are you guys using to export phosphates?
.1533 ppm...most of us like to keep it under .10 but I wouldn't be concerned. how's your nitrate ? and how often do you need to clean the glass?...any algae problems?
can you check nitrate ?......every other day is sounding like you have a bit more nutrients than what's ideal ...you should be able to go 3-4 days without cleaning glass. I still wouldn't be too concerned as long as algae doesn't get out of control.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just do a few water changes. If corals are happy don't chase a number around. I've done way more damage than good with gfo
