I have two 20+ day old Tomato babies in a 10 gallon tank. They were active, picking on processed flake/pellet, but just not growing. Temp is 82, and just slow growers. Well Friday I was testing water for a water change for it's SG, and I tested their water for the fun of it.. It was 1.042!!!!! I double checked other tanks and they were on the expected level, calibrated my refractometer to be sure, and still 1.042!
I slowly dropped it down to 1.024 over 48 hours.
That would explain why I had trouble getting BBS to hatch in the same water! LOL
These two babies are hardy!
