One of my friends has one in his reef with a mystery, banana, and a pair of cirrhilabrus solorensis with no problem.

I have my Aussey tusk with ~40 other wrasses & 40 other fish... never a problem

I added at least seven other wrasses ie: fairys, leopard, mystery, and no issues with tusk. Shrimps added after were a different story.

I am in the same club- have a HT and other wrasses without any issue.

I, too, have never had a problem with a tusk acting aggressively toward other wrasses.

What's the advantage of an Aussie vs a regular?

The commn thought is Aussie tusks are definitely not collected with cyanide, whereas other collection areas may use it, so Aussie caugt tusks will have a higher rate of survivability. I personally have not had a problem with tusks from Indonesia or Philippines, but others have.

Coloration of the Aussie tends to be more attractive, but that's a matter of personal opinion.
