I have a beautiful Australian caught tuskfish about 5"long I have had him for 6 months he is such a great fish! Lots of personality! two days ago he started acting on perching on the powerhead but still eating and not swimming like he normally does. Then other day I turned the light on and he was running into rocks and the walls of the tank and nose diving into the sand but he was still eating. As of yesterday and today he is not eating anymore and tucked himself next to the heater and only his eyes and gills move. I changed tanks from a 75g to an established 90g tank on Nov.20th and i thought I saw a little ICK on my purple tang so I treated with a herbal based product because there are anenomes in the tank and I have my most prized fish in this tank and currently without a hospital tank to treat. Well no one really like the herbal treatment my Kole tang lost some color and the aneomes stopped opening fully...so I did a 20 percent water change last week and another on Monday morning this week. I don't want to loose my Tuskfish!!!!! My water paratmeters are spot on !!! the only other thing I noticed was that one of his eyes in the retina looked like an oil slick with the multi color look when it hit the light the other is okay so I thought perhaps he might be blind in one eye and that would be why he is bumping into things..but now hes not eating and just wedged near the heater all help welcome!:thumbsup:
