i just saw my harlequin shrimp for the second time in over 6 months. yay! he's still alive and eating asternia stars. whooohooo.

only a reef keeper could get excited about this junk.

but he's still in there doing his job.

or maybe it's a her and her job. blah blah.
 
Have you noticed the asternia stars getting less? I am thinking of getting one, but if he don't do anything with the asternia's it is a waste to me.

they work. the only bad part is when you run out of asterinas.

Maybe we can set up a share program ,and just pass one along until we are all without asterinas. I have an over abundance of them right now.
 
the asternias are going down but i have also been siphoning them out when doing water changes.

i'm going to stop doing that though.
