hello all first time poster from the Uk

WAnted to ask a question about a Harliquin Shrimp, i just got my clkean up crew for my newly cycled tank, and i wwanted a harliquin, the guy in the shop said they only eat star fishes?

is this true!?

Yes. Most people will feed them Chocolate Chip Starfish.

Not evil. Everything on a reef eats or is eaten by something else on the reef. This is the natural course of life and is why nothing we keep can be considered "reef safe".

Hi,
I made the mistake of getting one of these evil shrimp from the lfs before I knew what it ate. Now I dread looking into the tank and seeing it slowly eating the poor chocolate chip starfish. Eeeek.

Hi Josh, im from near London also. Which shop did you see these shrimp at? I havent seen any at all the shops I've been to.
