from everything i know and have learned, tusks do not eat urchins... not too many fish out there who eat urchins... and i have had mine, which i dont have now, with many inverts including fish and crabs... never had any issues whatsoever... keep him fed, and be assured even further there will be no problem... jmo, but ime
