Harvesting Rots

i have some clown eggs that will be hatching soon and i was wondering if u where to strain rots in a coffe filter and condense in a small storage container, with some fresh SW and a bit of Roti diet. How long could they be stored in the fridge?
Kinda of a supply to start me out while some others are still culturing. Sounds like they multiply quick and u go threw a lot. Is there a better way to prep for newly hatched? How do u feed your rots to the hatching tank? Is it better to filter them in a coffee filter, and then add with a bit of phtyo?
