has anyone had luck with Kordon Ich Attack?

I've got a Powder brown tang that has broken out with ich. I've had him for a while and haven't added any new fish so there is that. I've been treating my mixed reef with Kordon Ich Attack but haven't seen any improvement over the last three days - he's probably getting worse. Has anyone had luck - is there hope for this course of treatment?

Any other reef safe options?

I tried the Kordon product. I think it may be hot pepper base. After I used it, my mandarin died and it didn't have Ich. I think whatever is in the Ich Attack may not bother corals, but certain fish may not do well with it. Not only did the mandarin die, but I don't remember it helping. I have used Ruby Reef Kick Ich several times with success. It is also reef safe. I also soak the food in Garlic Xtreme before I feed.

To the OP Steve is correct, as usual;). There is no reef safe options that are scientifically proven effective. And speaking from experience a long time ago, they don't. I personally do tank transfer but Steve has written quite a few stickies on the subject of cryptocaryon.

I agree. Steve's stickies are vital reading. Your problem really shows why so many folks preach "Quarantine Tank!".

I've read all of the stickies - great info. I was just hoping...I'm about to leave town for a couple of weeks and don't have time to do the tank transfer. My quarantine tank is also my coral and live rock overflow area right now - not that great for copper treatment if I ever want to put anything else in there ever. Sigh.
