have 3 fish want just 1 more

I have a dogface puffer about 6" (puppy dog nice) Clown Trigger (pr!ck when he's hungry) and a Foxface lo. (2 small damsels that stayed alive and eat the scraps...very helpful as cleaners lol)

I don't know what I can get that will stand up to the clown, I mean he is ok most of the time, but during feeding of course he's a punk. Took a chunk out of my lunar wrasse which then eventually died of infection. Help me out here. I don't want anything that will get larger than 7-8" and something that will stay out and isn't a super hyper swimmer. Tank is custom nice and tall 48" long room divider

I don't think you have room for another fish but if you have to have another I think maybe a small Tang like a Kole or something would do.

Sadly I don't think you have room for the fish you already have. While the trigger is mean, some of that aggression could be coming from the tank size if it has any size on it. I think you would have much more success if you rehomed your three big fish and started over with more appropriately sized ones. I'm really sorry to tell you that, but the only fish suitable to be in that tank are the damsels, and they might become aggressive to any new fish you try to add as well... Perhaps you could upgrade to a larger tank for your larger fish, and use this current tank for smaller fish? That's always an idea.

I actually agree with you. all 3 are actually about 5 ". I need to be rid of them and start over with a bunch of chromis or something

Clown Triggers are known to kill their tankmates I wouldn't add anything...I'd find help for those in there with him now

lol I've had them for a long time and the thought of parting with them sucks. I've watched them all grow like they were my children
