Have any of you ordered from Just Phish?

Hi all!

I can never seem to sync up with the guys at EBay to get some nassarius, so I figured I'd go online and get some.

I was just wondering if any of you knew about these guys or had ordered from them or would be interested in doing a group order. They have great prices on CUC (such as $0.36 astreas ) and good deals on Koralias, too.

Cool deal... check it out and let me know. I emailed the owner about a shipping estimate as its not free, so that makes a difference and there's also a $10 processing fee type deal, but we'll see. Reeftopia may be cheaper, we'll just have to compare a bit. I'll let you know what he says about shipping.

Yeah, I think reeftopia is the way to go.

Some things are cheaper at Just Phish, and if we were ordering 500 of things we could get them REALLY cheap, but we're not. Its only marginal after shipping, so reeftopia it is. I may order some Koralias from them, though... hehe.

Anyway, I'll probably go ahead and get things rolling I suppose. I need to take a hard look at my budget to see how much I can spend first, though.

I just happened across this post. In July I ordered two items from Just Phish, one of which was a can of Marine flake food. When my order arrived, it was a container TROPICAL and not Marine flake food. I emailed them immediately and was told that they were sorry and would send out the correct food immediately. Well, that didn't happen and after two more weeks I emailed again and was told that their supplier was out and they wouldn't have the Marine flake food for two weeks. Two weeks pass, nothing. I emailed again and told them I was not happy and to please just refund my card. Absolutely no response. I would NEVER recommend ordering from a company that operates business that way.

I have to say I was a little bit suspicious. And this is the reason I posted this thread to begin with, but I didn't want to say anything until there was reason to.

I actually contacted the owner to see if we could do a group order directly through him. He had done it before for a different reef club. His response was that he was hesitant to because someone "from our club" had tried to cause a lot of problems for him. I respected that, but it seemed a little shady for some reason. I almost felt like he had said it to maybe just not do it. Not sure, but I've decided on reeftopia, anyway.

I'd want to know myself which is why I posted. I have spent a lot of money with a lot of different online stores and this is the first time I've been burned. I obviously can't go after them for a small amount but I will be vocal on any board that I can to warn others of their lacking business practice. BE Warned I say!!

Something you could do that would be beneficial is contact the Better Business Bureau. I would definitely recommend that you do.

Actually I just emailed them once again to let them know that I posted on RC regarding their business practice. If I was a seller of fish related items, I would be very worried about any negative feedback or customer relations posted on this forum. I imagine that this posting (which anyone will be able to access if they run a search for Just Phish) will be most enlightening to others and hopefully save them from similar frustrations. Thanks for the thread.........I feel better!

Not stuffs with phish again......................Let's not start that issue again guys PLEASE!!!!!! We had a issue with it awhile back when I suggested in ordering through them and it went ugly in this very forum so let's not talk about that store again. As we were told by the moderator not to.
