Have new tank...want some corals

BTW, in the pictures with the frags, how does the LR look to you, colorwise? I've heard mixed reviews about purple-up. I'm mixed about using it.

Ken,

How are the new corals doing? Do you still want the frags I have?

ps: This is my ninth community service post of the day. I am on probation for excessive posting in the 'ignore' thread!

another one bites the dust

What did you mean by this post?

I meant another person getting sucked in to the addictive world of the reef hobby

Oh Ok...... I see what you mean. I'm definitely one of the addicts.

Could you please post that in that thread. Some were thinking you were taking a shot at the club. Thanks

The rock looks fine to me in time it will color up even more. I used purple up when I first started the only thing is keep an eye on your PH level when using it, I have since switched to using B-ionic 2 part and got better results, now the coralline algae is everywhere, I was only using it for a couple of weeks and then BOOM now I can't keep up with it, it's all over rock, power heads and glass.

I figure I need to just give it time and keep patient about it. PH and calcium seem fine although bill, blange3, checked my magnesium, that's a little low. Maybe next time I go up to Trop I'll buy a small piece of cured lr with nice color on it and scrape some off in my tank. Perhaps that will help with other colors.
