Having a problem with two Acros???

I have two acros giving me fits. One is suffereing from RTN (I beleive) dieing slowly from the bottum up and the other is what seems to be bleaching from under the bottum of each branch where it sems there is no light.I moved the one that I think is RTN into a different spot where the water blows on it much better and the other I cut the branchs (fragged) and layed each of them down on their side in a small lump of two part aquarium epoxy clay from the LFS.Al of my peramiters are in check so I figure it was a flow issue because they werent in a high flow area.........................What is the dieing from under each branch called and what would remedy it other than what I have done by cutting them and attaching the frags in other areas before the whole thing died off?

The Acroporas are NOT dying slowly from Rapid Tissue Necrosis. A picture could be very helpful. From your description, it could be as simple as the lower polyps are dying from being shaded by the new growth. What are those params? I can't tell you how many times someone's perfect parameters turned out to be off.
