Having trouble with new Apex Firmware

This is the first time I'm updating my Apex (only have had it for ~2 weeks). I downloaded the firmware with no issues (I checked that it successful using the self test). Updating the Web Pages is proving to be difficult. Here's my setup (using Chrome), I'm sure it's my error:

Internet---->Router---->Wireless Router Extender---->Apex
I I
V V
Desktop MacBook Pro
(in Safe Mode w/ Networking)

Ive tried to update the web pages using this setup and with the apex directly connected to my macbook, no luck. I have Parallels 8 on my mac with vista. But since the firmware upgrade was successful using the mac os, I figured it would be a waste to use vista to update the web pages. I also am currently unable to connect to my apex page on the internet. The only way for me to hardwire the apex to the 1st router would be to move the entire apex across the house. I'd rather not do that haha. But if I have to...Any tips would be great, thanks!

ok so it doesn't like that model I typed in. I was trying to say with the dashes and arrows that the Internet is hardwired to the desktop and the macbook pro in safe mode is hardwired to the wireless router extender.

--- I am now able to access my apex's web page (the ip address had changed).

So I tried the web page update wirelessly and worked with no problems. I went to my apex's online display and must say, the update is sweet! Now I just have to tackle the programming part....for some reason my return likes to turn off at 4am even though I have the following commands for it:

Fallback ON
Set ON

Oh well, I'm clearing my setup anyways, again, because I keep getting ghost modules. Right now I have 73 outlets being displayed, when I only have 8 actual outlets.

Will do RussM. After the re-scanning, the amount of modules was correct. 5mins later, there are 25....I've noticed a lot of people have this issue. Is it some kind of remnant in the programming that causes this?
