I am selling my lone GSM that was a part of my GSM Pair. The female passed away recently and I am really not interested in trying to get this Guy-turned-Girl paired to another. Its pretty simply to do but I do not have the personal time to monitor the fish so they don't die.

I am asking $30 for the fish - local pickup only.

I have had the fish for about a year. It had it's gold stripes when I purchased. I can surmise that it is about 2-3 years old at the least.

We want to pair our GSM, but pretty sure ours is a female (how can you tell anyway for sure?)

If your clown was alone for over 45 days its female. Gsm are mean and hard to pair even when small and no sex was picked yet.

So I've heard. We've had her since July, so I suppose she's a female then LOL. Ours isn't too mean (with other fish anyway, just our hands lol) and I was really hoping to pair her that sucks. But thanks anyway, and good luck finding a home!

U can do it just put the male in a container drill holes in it for flow and put a rock on top so it doesn't float. You will see the female attack the container but won't harm the male. Once she stops going after the male in the container you should have a good shot to let the male in the tank. If she is beating the male up start over they should pair after a few tries. I would also get the male ASAP so he doesn't start to change

Thanks!! I think this one listed is already female... but will def try that trick when do end up pairing. I'll make sure to get a juvenile though, so we know for sure.
