Heading to Des Moines

I'm heading to Des Moines on the 22nd to visit a friend. I'll be there for a couple of days and wanted to see if there are any stores I should visit.

Atticus is right though. The stores in the area leave alot to be desired. We won't go into too much depth as a certain owner likes to threaten lawsuits when you talk publicly about how crappy his store is.

Instead of crappy could you use inadequate?

We have coule of those in STL but that sounds bad!!!

So any store I should go to? Where do you guys get your weekly fix?

I am betting they wont have anything close to what you have in the STL area...I get down there on business now and then.
I really like Clayton's I have bought some really nice frags there.

And the periodic tank tear down and relocation in the rain...always a fun one in a college town with some serious nitrate infused sand with a nice hint of sulfur dioxide being loaded into a dumpster overflowing with rancid college student trash...yup...thats where we get our fix from.

In all seriousness though, either Adam's Aquatics or Iowa Seascapes is OK to browse. Seascapes does have a pretty cool overflow tank...

If you have been to Adam's lately, It looks like he is setting up that large acrylic tank as a frag tank. 3-400's over it and all kinds of egg crate.

Just saw that at adams yesterday... I have become very disapointed with the 'frag' tank at another local buisness, started off very good but its just went down hill fast.
