My husband has been wanting a purple tang, and I got a good price on one. So I bought a small purple tang and a new small yellow tang to introduce at the same time, so's to reduce the chance of aggression. Which means I need to find a new home for the yellow tang currently in my tank (I don't want to stress him or the new fish out too much). He's about 3 years old and about 2.5 inches tall from top to bottom (maybe a little more, it's really hard to estimate). PM if interested.

cadugauch--did you introduce all three of those tangs at the same time? My understanding from the experience of others is that multiple tangs can co-exist, but they do a lot better if they are introduced when they are all of similar size and all added to an unfamiliar tank at the same time, so that no one is encroaching on previously established territory.
