Hey,

So I just purchased a Heater for my 5 gallon tank.

My question is, is it ok for the heater to be touching some liverock?

And will fish get harmed by touching the filter?

The heater will be fine as long as you have decent flow on it.
"And will fish get harmed by touching the filter?" <-- is this a typo? Did you mean "heater" instead of "filter"? Regardless of which one you meant, they should be fine in either case.
