I would use 2-3 heaters so if one fails you still have heat.
My rule of thumb is 3-5 watts of heating per gallon of water.
So in your case 300-500 total watss would do.
A stand alone controller like the ones sold at www.diyreef.com are greatly valued to prevent your heaters from malfunctioning.
does your tank's room temp. dip low at night? If so you'll need what SeanT said for every 5 degrees, i believe, above room temp. you want to keep tank temp.
I'll second the controller idea. When heaters fail they often times stay on rather than not work. A controller is cheap insurance to avoit cooking your tank.
