Heaters

What brand of titanium water heaters is everyone using? I just had a Finnex 800w heating element go bad and I need to replace it with something more reliable. I use two heaters in case one goes bad, but the the safety one is only 350 watts and it can't do it alone. I use my AC3 as the temperature controller so I just need the heating element.

I have 4- 250's for the same reason on my 560. there really isnt a heater that wont fail yet. I have heard every brad goes after awhile.

I run a couple of finnex heaters on separate controllers, and also a couple of glass ones, but I forget the brand of them, but they are on redundant controllers also.

I run two won bros 1000 watt . the heater itself works great but the controller leaves some room for improvement. I would reccommend a different controller. the heaters work so good I dont have to heat the gh:D

That's what I was actually looking at, except for I want the version with just the heating element. Premium Aquatics has it for under $75, which seems like a good deal.

From what I've read, finnex are just about the best out there. I would recommend 3x300w finnex titanium. If one goes bad, its not enough power to cook your tank!

The Finnex is what crapped out in the first place. The price is nice, but I would like to have something that last's more than a year.

go with the 1000w wonbros. I have had very little trouble with the element. the controller?thats another story

I heard good things about the finnex and i will get 2 of those 800W for my next tank but as most of the heater, they will one day failed. In my experience with won, it burned my tank twice and i wont be using them anymore. I had good success with Ebo jagger but too bad they dont make more wattage.
