Hi I just baught a heilofungai coral from lfs , the guy at shop said it will do fine in my tank , low to medium flow , medium light feed 2 times a week with meaty food .... I've came home to read into this coral and it seems to be really difficult to keep , not many people having success with them , I think it's a long tentacle although haven't seen them come fully extended yet , does and one have any experience or advise they could give me .... Many thanks

Mine are both in sand bed. Have been in tank for over a year
Put them in one spot and LEAVE them.
Try not to handle them, their flesh is torn easily.
I do not directly feed mine.

Give em a few days for tentacles to come out. You'll see them out more @ night

Thanks catman , will post some pics up if all goes well , got a really births yellow/green one looks awesome under the blue LEDs

One of my favorite corals…Mine also sits on my sand bed and is very happy. I do not directly feed mine, have tried, but it is always stolen by my shrimp. When siphoning the sand be careful as the tentacles tend to 'want' to get sucked up.
