Hi, everyone I'm excited to join this forum and I'm excited to step back into the world of saltwater reef aquariums after about an 8 year vacation (Military relocations, deployments and medical retirement, civilian work, 2 kids and a mortgage, ect...) lol I'm starting back up after a military friend is giving me his 20 gallon reef tank, due him deploying he is no longer able to care for it and I'm now in a spot to get back into the life, so I'm getting my feet wet no pun intended with this small tank and hope to one day soon move up to somthing bigger and nicer. I look forward to learning a lot and meeting and talking with like minded people that are passionate and knowledgeable about this wonderful hobby.

Welcome back man!! Did you get the tank yet? If so you should post some pics! Not sure what kind of tanks you've had in the past, but if this is your first smaller tank, be prepared to baby it... Parameters are a lot less stable, but once you get everything dialed in and you routine down, it gets much easier. Let me know if you need help or advice on anything! And thank you for your service!
