Hello Islanders!!

I have been living in florida for the past three years, and came home this week to visit my family!

I have been away from my tank for 5 days and I am getting itchy for some marine fish.

Could one of you recommend the BEST LFS in the area!! It has to be in Suffolk county, and preferable not to far east!! I developed my hobby in FL and NEVER been to an LFS up here. Please this rain is killing me; I NEED FISH!!!!

PS-I have already been to Atlantis and that didn't fix the addiction!

where abouts on th e island are you?

You could check out petswarehouse in copaigue, a lot of fish in babylon, fishy inc in bayshore, unfortuantely I don't think many of the stores on the North shore are that attractive right now. Pet stop in huntington is in teh middle of a system swap.

BTW I went to Florida tech in Melbourne

I am in Farmingville now, I dont mind driving if the place is nice. But of course the closer the better. I am a third year molecular biologist and my girlfriend, who is here with me also, is a marine biologist. I sure we know the professors; cool!!

If you do not know where farmingville is, i am near holbrook and selden!

don't know if they are any good or not but I think suffolk fish and reef, and magic isle might be neer you

I dont think the same profs are there, I only went there for one year before transferring to other schools, Only prof I remmeber was professor shenker who was kinda in charge of the aquaculture facility, and let me do alot of my own research

just west of the southern end of DPA, on the south side of Montauk highway
