After looking and looking on the forums I think this club is the one that is actually the closest to me. I am in North West North Carolina ( about 30 min from boone) and I am new to this area. I am wondering, is this a ref club that actually meets, or is this just a online club? I am very new to the hobby, and I am looking forward to starting my first SW reef tank soon!

Hello and welcome. We have meets occasionally (semi monthly) whenever someone wants to host. There are plenty of used tanks, equipment and corals for sale so if you are looking for anything post it up.
