Hi there Sacramento reefers! I just moved here a little while ago from the midwest from a town I soon rather forget. Anyhoo, I came across your forum and though this would be a great way to meet some fellow reefers. Ya'll seem like a nice bunch

A little about me.
I have been working fresh water tanks for about 5 years, and even got to a point where I was breeding a couple of em. Nothing too fancy, but sure was fun. I am new to the saltwater world, but I have a nano that I have had for about a year. I am lookin' forward to getting it up soon now that I am settled in to the new digs.

So where does a guy go around here to see some pretty fishies?

Now now lets not be bias. All our fish stores have good points. Have fun and explore them all. Also welcome to M.A.R.S.

Welcome to the freakshow! Go to all the LFS. KMP and I can do it in one day if we plan careful, and heck, we're all the way out in Woodland!

Do it once and you'll know what you have to choose from at that point on... Besides if you're hard to the core... You'd do it because you HAD TO!

Welcome poissons to the madness.

Kevin, you do them all in one day??? Can I tag along once... I don't seem to be able to hit more than 2 or 3 in a day. You must spend like 5 minutes at each place.

I got to admit...KMP wore me out. I had to give up on the 12 stores in 8 hours extravaganzas. I'm a whimp! I tend to shop like a guy...Get in, get what I need, walk the tank row once and get out. Done!

LOL that's how I shop walmart...get in, get what I need, adnd get out......but the LFS??? HA! Ask Kyle....I practically live at Aqualife! I buy what I need and then hang around for an hour or more looking at everything twice!

Welcome! Sac is a great area to reef. Our LFS's are awesome and have some really knowledgeable people. The MARS meetings are awesome if you are into that (my reef has never been happier). There are so many great people and the reefing community is very supportive of fellow reefaholics.
