help 55 gallon lighting problem!
I am trying to upgrade my lighting. My first choice is the outer orbit 48 inch fixture. But it is an inch or two wider than my tank. I was hoping to get a light that I wouldn't have t upgrade if I went to a bigger tank eventually. (120 gallon). Will it look bad having light shining over the front or back of the tank? I've never seen this. I really have been interested in a mh/ t5 combo with moon lights...but it is very expensive. If this light just won't work with my setup, are there any other combos out there that would work? I suppose that if I had too, I could live with t5's and moonlights also. I just really like the shimmer effect of mh's! Please help me pick the right lighting for my tank! I need to do this in the next few days! Thank you.
If there seems to be nothing like the outer orbit available, then I guess it's t5's with icecap ballasts? Moonlights separately?
