Help.... Blue tang sick

my blue tang has ich but it spreaded to his eye and now his eye is swollen. Watter is fine but just bout this fish fro my LFS and had ich the next day. My question is . Now he is swiming and looks that he will survive. But the swollen eye is it gone go away or i need to put him in quarantine that i don't like to do. Is the swollen eye usual when fish get effected by ich?

Marine Ich (Cryptocaryon irritans) is a parasite. Any fish introduced into the vacinity of an affected fish will catch Ich. The swollen eye is probably Popeye, a bacterial infection that is usually caused with damage. The Blue Tang very well could have hurt himself while flashing. Any time a fish is sick and any time you get a new fish, it needs to be placed in Quarantine. Stop purchasing fish, put them all in QT, research methods of curing Ich, and act upon them ASAP.
