help choose a clam for my tank

Can you more experienced clam owner's help me out? I've had saltwater for several years ...but not clams. I've got a tank that is 28" deep with 3 250w m/h bulbs on it. Is this enough for some type of clam's? (I'd like the clam on the sandbed) if so which one's?

you should be able to keep any clam with that lighting. the higher lighting clams may do fine on the bottom but would do better a little higher up in the tank.
