I am new to the marine fish community and I have not yet encountered a health problem with my fish. I currently have a 55g tank with only a few fish in there right now. They are currently 3 Damsels and a clown fish along with 3 hermit crabs.

Recently I have noticed that my domino damsel has begun to lose his aggressiveness and the color on his body is begining to fade, only around the base of his fins are still a true rich black color. also he recently hasnt eaten much, as well as swimming up and bouncing of differnt objects in the tank (he would appear to line up and do this intentionally). I have a second smaller tank i had first before i upgraded and i kept this tank set up for a hospital tank. If someone could please help me figure out what kind of illness my fish has so i can treat it properly i would greatly appreciate it.

p.s i also see no sign of white dots so i dont think it could be ich.

Please help

Thank You

Can you list the food your feeding the fish?

Certain fish need certain types of food and can actually lose color and even die of malnutrition if not fed properly.

i have recently run out of frozen foods so i have been using flakes only. when i first got him he enjoyed it fine and was healthy looking, he loved the frozen food but i ran out and he has since looked this way. i found some more frozen food today and tried to feed it to him but he didnt take it. what kind of meds should i get to help heal him and get him to feed once more

my fish has cloudy eyes, i have switched 2 of my remaning 3 to my hostpital tank and one has cloudy eyes and isnt looking so good, i hope he makes the night...i still have to catch my 3rd (i think my water is bad).

one of the ones i switched instantly feels better, but for the one with the lcoudy eyes what could it be? any help is appreciated and what do u think i should buy to help him get better...thanks
