Ok, so my dog ate a 1" frag of Hydnophora while I cleaning my tank. THat coral was not doing well anyway, so must of it was already gone before she got her paws on it. Should I be worried? I don't think it was enough to do any damage but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks in Advance

If it was my dog I would go to the vet to atleast get advice. If that is the frag I sold you it has some pretty sharp edges on it. How did the dog get to it ?

I finished my sump last night and I was moving some LR down there. I decided to redo my tank and take some of the smaller frags and put them down there so they would not get damaged while I was moving things. Somehow, I must have knocked it off of a rock that it was epoxyed to. My vet did not know much about the situation, so I posted on here to get any suggestions from people that actually know about corals. She crushed it up, so I am not worried about it cutting her. I was more worried about toxicity levels from the coral. I did not think it was enough to harm her either, I just wanted a second opinion.

She is about 23 pounds. I doubt it will bother her considereing there was not much to the frag to begin with. She decided she wanted to try Sushi I guess. Not the brightest dog sometimes...

I don't understand the things dogs want to eat. My dog loves to eat from the cats litter box.

Of course, I don't let him, but sometimes my nephew will leave the gate open and my dog will go for the litter box.

My dogs loves to eat my parrot food. And the darn birds loves to feed it to them.....Like tonight, one of the dogs was barking at the macaw to ask him to toss out some food from his cage. My macaw feeds the dogs bird food all the time. It's kinda funny to watch sometime.... :D
