Hi,
I'm using ACII to control CO2 regulator. I can turn on milwaukee regulator but i can not turn if off. I even heard x10 appliance went off but regulator not turn off unless i pull if out of ac outlet. Does anyone has the same problem? What should i do? Thanks, John.

John,

There is still a little bit of current flowing through the appliance module when it is off. This is so the unit can sense when a lamp, etc. plugged into it is turned on or off. Unfortunately, it can lead to some erratic behavior from aquarium equipment.

Two things you can try:
1. Get a plug "splitter" (one of those things that lets you plug several things into a single outlet). Plug the splitter into the appliance module. Plug you solenoid into one plug on the splitter and plug an incandescent nightlight into the other plug on the splitter. There is less resistance in the bulbs filament and the current will go through the bulb, not the solenoid. It has to be an incandescent lamp, not a flourescent lamp.

2. The other thing you can try is to disable the local control on the appliance module. This requires that you open the module and cut a lead on the circuit board in the module. This is described on Neptunes website (www.neptune.com).
