Help, I need a GOOD feeding schedule

K, I read alot about feeding to much to lions etc. Thing is I hear alot about daily to once a week feedings. Im looking at adding some fish to my tank in a few days as well. Please advise as to the following fish.

4.5 inch clown trigger
7.5 inch V. Lionfish
6 inch Dogface Puffer

Now please if you advise make sure to include how much food at a time. I usually do guppies, mollies, goldfish; etc. But as you can tell by the sizes of the mouths and the fish, its hard for anything to get past the lion. It doesn't phase him to gulp 8+ fish at a time, so I now have to block him to one side.
Now I am looking at adding these in the next 2 days:
5" Emp. Angel (a)
4.5" Radiata Lionfsih
and either a purple or powder blue tang.
I want the powder blue, but I question if he has much of a chance? The purple tang is 4-5 inches, The powder blue is 3-4.
I would love to get away with just feeding every other day, if its going to be good for them.
If you can please help on a good feeding schedule for these as well. I don't want them to starve but overfeeding is about as bad, and usually ends up killing the tank with ammonia, nitrites; etc.

Finally I want to add a humu humu trigger, but the only thing they have for sale close to him is a Rhinecanthus assasi. From my books a Rhinecanthus Aculeatus is the famed humu humu (picasso trigger). I like the Undulate Trigger, but they claim there way more aggressive. And the niger is just to plain I guess.

Even if you only know what a really good schedule is for any of these given sizes please let me know. Thanks

I think it is important to remember that variety is the spice of life. By just feeding your fish live food they are missing out on some important nutrients. This is espeically true because you are feeding fresh water fish. I would feed your fish three times a week as much as they can eat in two to five minutes. Here are some things to consider:

Krill
Formula I and II
Clam
Squid
Shrimp
Non-oilly fish (whole or chunks)
Scallops

I am sure there is a ton of stuff I have forgotten, but that is a good start. It will take awhile for the lion to eat these things, but keep trying and you will convince it.

read the sticky at the top of this forum about feeding large predators live freshwater feeders are not a beneficial food source for saltwater fish, i agree with the using a variety of foods as sunfish mentioned but i personally feed small amounts several times a day

Yeah I read the predators thing, and plan on working with them more once their eating good and settled in. I so far only give them freshwater, and recently got some raw shrimp from the store. I just haven't really figured out how to get food to my dogface puffer on a stick, I always would think he would bite the paperclip end (only thing I can think of to use as a feeding thing since my local stores dont have anything).
Anyway I really needed to know if its good to go to every other day for all of them?? I have a juv emp. angel coming tomorrow instead of my adult one, a radiatta lion (large); and like an idiot Im trying to put a powder blue surgeon in there. Thing is I guess I need to just put some red marine algae on a clip for the tang and emp. all the time. If you have had alot of success, I dont mean one fish; I mean we all have had one fish that broke the rules; please list what is the best recommendations for feeding times.
Unfortunately my 125 tank had a bad day thanks to my 5 year old. So presently everyone has been shoved back into a 55. Im using all the sand and rocks, filters etc from the larger tank. Because of how difficult it is to get a large Radiata, I already had these guys on order. I know feeding to much is basically about as bad as underfeeding, and overfeeding just basically causes more crap (waste, ammonia, nitrites); you already know Im sure.

The guy above I think said all they can eat within 2-5 mins, problem is my main V Lion doesnt know how to stop. My clown trigger doesn't either to be honest, but I dont hear alot about killing clowns by overfeeding as I do lions. Try to remember a key factor here is to feed so their not aggressive (as bad lol). Thus far my lions for several months only steals it if it comes out of there mouths, I havent seen him actually try to beat anyone down yet. Neither has the clown trigger but Ive only had him for about a month. To be honest it seems my 4.5 inch maybe 5 inch maroon clown seems to want to rule the tank.

As always even if you have experience in the past with these types in a tank together please let me know either posting here or messaging. If you message it will be kept private, I know some of us don't like to talk about our failures; but I really could use insite. Thanks for reading and any help.

What size tank is this? That is a very large fish load.
Most of the fish except the tangs can be fed every other day. I feed my predators a few mouth fulls every other day.

K since I dont have the 125 anymore they able to resell the order. So yeah I have the lion, trigger, dogface, maroon, domino, and the little tomato lol. Im assuming the trigger is feed everyday, and everyone else is better off with a every other day schedule.
