Help ICH Maybe?

My clown trigger has a white sandy look to him as well as white spots on his fins, his colors dont look as bright and seems to have a stringy film on parts of his body. i cant get a photo right now due to being at work. the 3 other fish in the tank are fine. eel, maroon clown, and frog fish.

any ideas?

Certainly does sound like ich. See if you can google search for pictures of it, and see if those photos look like what you have. Then start treatment ASAP as in the sticky threads above .

How long have you had this fish?

If he is in fact infected with ich parasite and appears to have a thickened slim coat he has a pretty advanced case meaning covered completely.

Or is like a Brooke looking slimcoat?
