I have a regal angel in QT. Been there about a month. Eating very well, clear eyes, alert and active. No body slime, spots, open sores, rapid breathing, etc.
This morning I noticed redness at the base of one pectoral fin. Also noticed a very small amount of what could be fin rot on the same fin as well as the tail. I'm thinking it's septicemia. Thoughts?
If it is septecemia what's the recommended course of treatment? I have administered a dose of Furan-2 because I had it on hand and it should knock out the fin rot. I have access to Erythromycin and tetracycline locally if either of those would be a better choice for the septicemia.
