Help ID Disease on Wrasse?

Hi,

I've had this guy in my QT along with a two other arrivals from LiveAquaria for 1.5 weeks now. All of the fish have been eating normally since I got them. However, the wrasse has this "fleshy" white spot on him which showed up a couple of days after putting them in the QT. For the past week I've been giving the tank a daily dose of Paraguard and haven't really seen an improvement in the condition.

My water parameters are reading - 0 for ammonia, 0 for nitrite, 0-5 for nitrate & 8.4 for pH.

What do you guys think this is (I've attached photos) and what should I treat my tank with next? I have the following medications in my arsenal:

  • Paraguard
  • Prazi-Pro
  • Bifuran+
  • Cupramine

Could be a bacterial infection; could be a bruise/injury that mucous formed around.

If it was something serious (brook, uronema) it should have spread by now. Has it worsened in any way? Or stayed about the same?

It's stayed about the same. So is the best path here to watch and see or should I switch up my prophylactic treatment routine?

Personally, I would watch & see. But do have a broad spectrum antibiotic on hand (i.e. Furan-2) in case it spreads or starts to look worse.
