Hello everyone,
I 'm Rashed, I live in Holland. I'm enjoying the hobby for a couple of months. My tank is doing well, corals growth is good. Water Values are Ok.
About a week ago I bought a flower coral. Since the purchase its going down hill. It has these worm-like structures on its flesh. These things do not move and cant be blown away(by a turkey blaster). Also coral RX, iodine and RO water dips have not helped.
I took some pictures, including some microscope shots. As you see on microscope slides, these things produce some kind of spiral tentacles.
My question is: what are the worm-like structures on my Coral ?
I have searched on the Internet but can't figure it out. Someone said on a website that it was often seen in diseased coral. That still doesn't explain what it exactly is. Are these some kind of coral disease or is this a stress response of Coral? and if so the question still remains "What the heck are these things"
Would greatly appreciate your help.
