slimer?

slimer?

what makes you call it a slimer? I have alot of people calling it a CALI TORT.
are slimers types of torts? I wont doubt or judge you based on your 10 posts but just like to know..... I too only have about 10 posts "here anyhow" but been in the hobby in and out for over 15 years.

I am just getting back into sps after about 10 years. lots of new colors and names out there now! Been into Zoas for the last 2 to 3 years while the kids were little and I didnt have much time to spend on my tank but still wanted nice color with easilly kept corals. even with zoas I now learned are the newest and greatest thing to have. 10 years ago they were just things to have, no great color not all the great names for people to over charge you with.
SPS have always been the thing to go to after graduating from all the other corals. Just the biggest thing I see now is, that you are very lucky to find a colony! everything seems to be frags. Just another way I seen the hobby change. everyone seems to be out for the dollar in this hobby. Hobbist seem to blame the fish stores for HIGH PRICES but most or close to all the for sale threads I see... The Hobbist Is Doing The SAME! just a $20 cheaper?

i just stick to my thinking and its been saving me alot of money! Something new is always the GOTTA HAVE IT everyday!:bounce3:
after a few new gotta have its comes out, the one you really liked has now dropped in price cause alot more have it. As long as people pay these outragous prices for nothing but being able to say "look what I spent to much on" people will charge it. Purple Hornets are a good example! $300 per polyp on ebay to now $40 if that! less than a year!!!

sorry for the rant, some one just made me mad and had to vent!:furious:

here is a pic of my tank kinda when i first started has to be 2 year old pic? sorry dont have a recent pic of the whole set up done and grown:
